I’ve been trying the TyretoTravel (free) for route planning: http://www.tyretotravel.com/

Very impressed, easy to use and produces Tom Tom and Garmin files.

Did this one for the Tom Tom, Calais to Benidorm: .0v2 file following as close as I could the minimal tolls option on this page: http://about-france.com/tourism/no-tolls-routes.htm

Need to double check the route, but so far looks good – not sure about the indicated toll costs of 40 Euro??

    Hi Brian,
Aren't ov2 files just a list of POI's, how do you use them for route planning?
I used to use Tyre to produce Itinery Files withg my old TomTom but the Start60 I use now does not do Itineries. Unless this is a way round it.
