Has anyone got a recommendation for a site in Caen France for an over night stop, not an Aire.

Park on the drive to the chateau, always a great start and end to an holiday.

Camping Les Pommiers in the direction of Caen is 2 minutes from the ferry at Ouisterham.

Not the best site in the world but convenient !

Camping Les Hautes Coutures at Benouville 3km from Ouistream is a good quality site, used by Caravan Club, owner keeps site open for entrants from Portsmouth pm Ferry i.e. up to about 2230. Barrier open at 0600.
