I have a cadac safari chef barbeque/grill its about 5 years old and ever since Iv'e had it the slightest little bit of wind and it blows out I have got to the point of being so p****d of with it that I am seriously thinking of throwing it out. Anybody else got one with the same problem or is it just mine. Also any recommendations for a replacement would be welcome.

We have the biggere Carrie-chef and have never had any problems with it blowing out, even on the low setting. We usually put a windbreak up as this helps keep the temperature more even on the cooking plate, but other than trying that, I don't know what might be wrong with yours.

Sorry, not much help.

Weve got one never had an issue unless its really windy but only then its less efficent. Might be worth checking that the gas jet is not blocked or even that you have the correct jet installed HP or LP

I ave the Carri chef and have never had a problem although I do like to use a windbreak if it is a bit breezy.
