Sitting on the port at Tanger Med reflecting on our stay we've had what can only be described as a varied holiday! Morocco is changing very fast as of course it has to but we have found the guardians more expensive and aggressive in places, Marakesh was not a good experience this time, the last night in Assilah was dreadful various noises all night and expensive for a guardian site, PLUS to cap it all the ferry is delayed by 4 hours. Never again

I always knew we had the best years in Morocco in the early part of the millennium. Each year I went it became more European with prices to match in some places. One of the reasons we now favour Bulgaria, but unfortunately its too cold in winter.

So sorry your holiday was spoilt. We never got to Morocco as only had the RV 3/4 years and wouldn't go now. This winter will be our first winter in the sun as Allan retires next month so will be looking for help and suggestions of sites and dates that funsters recommend so we can join in.
