Good morning,

We are keen on buying a Globecar, in particular a FamilyScout. I've been lurking on this site for a while now and have read that some people have bought Globecars direct from Europe, even with RHD. I'd be interested to hear from people that have achieved this and any tips from your experiences please.

Previous attempts by us to get in touch with European dealers have resulted in us being redirected back to UK dealers. We're aware this can be a slightly more convoluted buying process, but are hopeful the money saved would far outway the negatives.

Thanks in advance.

We bought a new Possl Roadcruiser same as the Globecar Campscout, we did consider the Familyscout also.

We bought from and dealt with Dominik who speaks and understands English with ease.

It was a lot easier than we thought it would be and the savings made it well worth it.

Don't know how you have approached dealers but normally they are only too pleased to sell to UK customers.
Unless you are in a desperate hurry one of the best ways of making contact is at Caravan Salon Dusseldorf at the end of August.

Thanks for all the comments. Has anyone managed to buy a Right Hand Drive from a German / Belgian dealer?
