Happy FLT since 2011
Its big.
Where you going to keep it at home?
It will be difficult to park anywhere.
Restricted to campsites but if that what you like then its perfect but would a caravan be a better prospect?
Our Burstner is smaller so as to be more flexible in its use, good luck though - there are beautiful.

Go for it. Yes they are bigger than a lot of motorhomes. Mine is a 2010,had it for three years now and love it. 3ltr 160 BHP 24/25 mpg. It drives like a car, not found a campsite we can't get on yet, only a couple in Spain which were old sites built in the days when the only campers were VW's and Citrions. We go in supermarket car parks, you just take up two spaces and hope no one parks next to you. Inside you have a huge lounge so your not cramped and on top af each other, big garage, good heating, the list goes on. Do you get the impression I like mine. You have about 800kg payload I think. Nice driving position. You will get a lot of peaple poo poo the idea of owning one but secretly they want one. Go for it.This is mine.

We had an Aviano which is smaller but a similar sort of design.

If it has a cab door ( not all of them do) just check around the door for water ingress, as ours wasn't sealed very well in that area.

Lovely van (y)

Well that`s our 13th year & still loving it.
We looked at buying one, until we spent a bit of time in our friends, as a modular component it`s truly brilliant but put all the parts together and it just doesn`t work, eg. the lounge area, for some reason the table is fixed, you can slide it about but as my wife pointed out to the salesman how does the person sat over there get to the loo without disturbing the person sat here, oh that`s easy just push the table over to that side, oh right, what happens to the person sat on that side of the van, you`ll crush them.

Time for beds kids...opps you lower the bed down but first you have to drop the drivers and passenger seat down, oh dear you lose the lovely cosy lounge area, or do they sleep in the posh bedroom at the rear.
A well made product and a lovely van for two people.
Hey James Martin the chef owns one, suits him but the layout didn`t suit us.

The original table is massive, way to big.The guy I bought mine off had made a smaller table and moved the leg towards the front seats. Even this I did not like so I removed the leg and bought a tripod leg so I can put the table where I like if I want to use it. We don't really use the table much as we eat on our laps or outside. This makes the lounge seem bigger. We have a small little stool/ table to put a beer on.

I’d be looking at getting it to an Alde heating specialist if it was mine.

We have the Argos 748 which had a similar lounge layout (Straight Bench seat and another L shaped seat, with massive awkward table).
We removed the table and brought a simple smaller one, we actually brought two, one for eating and an even smaller one for the Gin/ Beer.
A few sites we have been unable to get on due to size always puy mine down as 8.5m as that is the cut off for most sites. Less and less now as sites are upgrading the pitch sizes, possibly because Caravans are getting bigger and tents are like small cities these days.

Loads of space, fixed bed, separate shower so no we loo roll.

Loads of storage space.

Thirsty, never get more than 22 mpg out of mine.

Expensive to service.

Make sure you can store it somewhere, even if you have a big driveway, they are monsters. Lots of storage facilities have none or limited spots for that size.

I'd not go smaller atm but if situation changes I'll always have a fixed bed.
