Thank you @TheCaller for looking into & offering this option & although it didn't work out this year maybe it's something that might work next year if BunkFest is half as good as we have heard

Just got this & Wow! What a well produced, professional festival programme packed full of useful info. So many acts, workshops, food stalls & specialist beers there to choose from Thought this was a small volunteer run event but looks like we will struggle to get around it all as so much choice.

We will be on the forum until this Wednesday morning then offline at Sunshine Festival (see some of you there ) until next Tuesday-Wednesday am when we will hopefully catch up. We will try to reply to any messages then but will be frantically cleaning, doing washing & restocking the motorhome! From Wednesday lunchtime onwards we will be offline again so call us on the mobile number that we will PM to each of you if you need to get hold of us.
Suggest an informal gathering in the bar on Thursday night for those that are in by then? Think it will be BunkFest stewards who will be parking us up but just in case we are helping out or the organisers need to know please can everyone let me have their arrival day & rough idea of time plus the size of your motorhome (if we don't already have it) @mitzimad @petensal @mexican pete @scottie @nifty fifty @Chocy boy @mikethebike @Steve @Silkcut1105 @grumfy @Viennese

Pity, no dogs on campsite, but welcomed at the festival?
Would have loved to go, as very close to us, but the kids don't want to leave the dog! Just spent 3 weeks throughout France, never an issue with dog, even Eurodisney had a kennels to cater for dog owners. How many others would attend if dogs allowed??

Dogs are fine at the festival but the official camping is on the pitches at the Sports Park so dogs aren't allowed there. A helpful fellow Funster did organise a dog friendly camping option (info. on previous posts on this thread) but no take up for this. If this festival works out as a desirable meet then maybe next year there will be two camping options again. For this year if you are local then there is a well organised Free Park & Ride service for day visitors.

Thank you for your reply - arrivals are from Thursday 11am for us (midday for public) until 8pm & same again on Friday.

Sorry Wombles, not quite sure if it will be Thursday evening or Friday morning, will try for Thursday. My van is 6.5m with the bike rack! Thanks for info re show guide which I have now ordered.

Hi everyone - just catching up briefly on our return from Sunshine & have just a day to get all the washing, cleaning & restocking done for BunkFest so please bear with us if we are a bit weary once there! We haven't been to this one before but the programme looks great & lots going on We aren't marshalling this one as far as we know (unless we get roped in?!) as BunkFest have their own volunteer stewards to get everyone pitched but we will be around & will catch up with you & say hello sometime if we aren't there when you arrive. We will be flying the Fun flag & have our signs up & Womble in the front screen! We have asked for everyones motorhome size & arrival day & times to help them & us. On Thursday evening suggest that anyone who wants to comes along to gather in the bar around 7.30pm? BunkFest officially opens at 6pm on Friday but there is the town to explore before then.

I won't be at Bunkfest though - I'm stewarding at Fleetwood Folk & Blues Festival this weekend. It'll have to be another field another time.
