image.jpg Bulldozers moved into the Villasol site this morning. They are going to decommission three rows of touring pitches and will be constructing chalets or cabins on them. This will result in the loss of 60 - 70 pitches used by motor homes and caravans. I fear that a lot of regular visitors to Villasol will have to look for alternative accommodation next winter.

Think they are forcing the Winter gang down to the pitches near the road, which were mainly empty during our time there, they did fill up towards the end of February, but there was still places most of the time, what it does mean is that the 2 shower blocks in the redeveloped area will not be very convenient for the remaining lower pitches.
La Torreta next winter ? ;)
