We are travelling to Brussels at Easter. Ferry from Harwich to the Hook of Holland. Is there anywhere to park up on both sides?

If you are just visiting the City might be best to find a nice parking place and take a train in.

Sorry just reread it

Not been in Harwich for a few years but you use to be able to sleep in the dock when waiting for or coming off the boat.

But things change so maybe someone else has more upto date information

Parking at Harwich

We are travelling to Brussels at Easter. Ferry from Harwich to the Hook of Holland. Is there anywhere to park up on both sides?

We stopped in the Lidl Car Park at Harwich, this summer, on our way to Holland/Germany. The car Park is approx 1/4 mile from the Ferry Terminal. There is also a Morrisons Store with Petrol Station accross the road, very convenient for filling up prior to catching the Ferry. Next to Lidl, is a Premier Inn, which let us park there for 10 days, for £5. We stopped at the Premier Inn for 1 night, prior to joining a Royal Carribbean " Jewel of the Seas for a cruise to the Baltics 3 years ago. I don't know of anywhere accross the water in Holland to park near the Ferry. Hope this helps. The address for Lidl in Harwich is Parkeston Road, Harwich CO12 4NX. BillyS

Still learning since 2010
As far as I am aware you can still park up in the waiting area at the ferry terminal at Harwich. You can also park along the water front in the town as long as you don't make it look like a camp site.
