We are thinking of going to the xmas markets in december, can anybody reccommend a site to stay at any of the above locations please ?
we would like to be fairly central if possible but don't mind a 2-3 mile walk.

The nearest place to the Brugges Xmas market is the aire de service near to the station. A good facility with EHU, unfortunately at 22 euros per night it is not cheap. There is also Camping Memling, a full facility site, but it is a 20 minute walk or a bus ride into the city centre. We visited the Brugge Xmas Market a few years ago now and I have to say we found it rather disappointing. I would suggest staying at Brugge and catching a train into Brussels where there is a vey good Xmas Market at the Grande Place. Sorry but I can't help with Ostend.
