We have always wanted to visit Bruges, we must have bypassed it numerous times when travelling through Europe so decided to correct that and spend a few days there. We booked the campsite in advance so were guaranteed a spot before heading into the city. There is good bus connections near the camp site and you can get into the city center quite easily.
We were definitely glad we went and would recommend to one and all. A couple of days should be enough unless you plan to spend a fortune in the shops.

We've been twice now the most recent Feb 2014 and the weather was so good that we had to take of our Cold weather gear.

Coffee / Chocolate drinks to die for and a fabulous selection Belgian Beers.

I have justreturned from doing the same trip. Definately recommend the experience to anyone. We stayed at camping memling.
