Hi Everyone - my first post after joining a few months ago and 'spying' on you all!

We want to trundle 'Baggie' our motorhome to Bruges in the days after Xmas and just before the New Year. Looking for recommendations for a site or aire close to or in Bruges with good bus/train connections.

Travelling from the West Midlands via the tunnel, is it feasible to do the journey there in a day. or would a stopover be a better idea (dark mornings/night) etc..

Any help & suggestions welcomed

Regards

SCOGE (Yes I am a WBA fan, hence the name for our 'home!).

Certainly easy to do in a day - couple of hours journey on the motorway (which is free ) From Calais I mean

There is an Aire very close by and a very pleasant walk into the heart of Brugge. Take a ticket at barrier at Aire entrance and when leaving take ticket to pay kiosk (just like our our car parks). Not cheap but very, very convenient. Brugge is truly beautiful.

You would be best at the Brugge aire. I think it is still £15 per night at that time of year. Has water and emptying facility and a very short walk into the centre of Brugge. We have been twice in the past year.

... and is quite handy for transport really, being adjacent to the railway station!

Bring shoes with nice padded soles, most of Bruges is cobbled !

I think the aire is €15 per night this inc EHU.

It is next to the canal .
Its beter to use the aire if you want to walk into Brugge/Bruges

Hope its warmer than last year
Or We will be south in Spain:ROFLMAO:

We have stayed on the aire in Bruges even though it is only 20 km from home.
With other funsters and was very impressed with it.

I think you have to pay to get water and empty your toilet.
