Need the toilet manufacture & model (Presume Thetford) Which lever you have broken ?
Most parts on the Thetfords are available separately

They very often DONT break but the screw comes loose and just needs to be re-fitted..
If the arm did physically break I think they are about £20 from memory..
Also another common part to fail is the "saddle bracket" and my money is on either the loose screw or the saddle bracket..

With 2 young grandkids under 6 who think it's a game to see how fast they can "drop the goods".. I'm gettin an expert on toilet fixing...

We tried to claim it was jammed but that didnt work. It has broken, i pushed it the wrong way, just have to wait and see what price they quote to fix it. Thanks.

You shouldn't lose the whole deposit! Normally they will just deduct price of item and fitting and have done with it - so I would expect around £50. £20 for the part and hours labour should more than cover it.

Not bad for free.

Have you noticed how many people just sign up, ask us to get them out of deep poo and then vanish as soon as they go read only.

I'm feeling more and more that we should string them along for 5 posts and if we are saving them money they should contribute to the upkeep of this place.

You may or may not have noticed that I often answer a newbie with a question, it's both friendly and if they reply used up one of their freebies.

Cunning or what :winky:

So instead of "Hello welcome to FUN", how about "Hello welcome to FUN what colour are your socks ?"
