Nice aire in my home town, Port Louis. N47,70873 W3,342 Aire de la Côte Rouge, it overlooks the Petite Mere de Gâvre.

Thank you, we are off to Brittany next week and will be coming down that way. The aire looks to be in a nice spot. https://goo.gl/maps/fyr6r

Hi like DBK, we are down your way the week of 8th sept , looks very nice aire hopefully stop there.

Almost feel like getting in the van and driving down there myself, it does look nice.
Has the rain stopped?

It actually stopped raining here about an hour ago and a glimmer of watery sunshine struggled it's way through the clouds
Looks like it's brightening up at last.
We'll probably stay here then

Long-term forecast doesn't look bad, not scorchio, but encouraging. Broken Link Removed

Warmer further south, this is Morbihan.

Disembarked at St Malo 07.15 this morning as we say up North it was "stottin doon" didn't sleep to well on the ferry and in view of the awful weather drove 61 miles to Loyat nr Ploermel and booked into the very scenic, quiet and nice ACSI site called Merlin, L'enchanteur. Owned and run by an English couple very few of us in excellent clean facilities so well pleased. Rain finally cleared by 19.00hrs allowing us to have a walk and explore our surroundings, delightful area so now unsure if we should move or stay on another night. ;0)

Your not far from Josselin, a lovely old town on the Nantes Brest canal with a market Saturday morning. There is an aire ( free) in Josselin but you can't stay there on Saturday morning, they use it as parking for the market, but there is other motorhome parking nearby.
Whatever you do, enjoy your trip, weather should be in the mid 20's from tomorrow......at last.

Decided to stay put and catch up with our laundry. Sunny and hot day after early morning mist. Almost have the place to ourselves.

First time I have ever picked Blackberries in tee shirt and shorts, Apple and Blackberry crumble with custard for sweet tonight. (Windfall apples as well)

Sounds idyllic. Love blackberries too. If there is any spare, we are just north of Loudeac and have our own spoons.....

Not a cloud in the sky, I was in the pool most of the afternoon................But it was not as warm as July, I think it will be soon time to cover it up for the season.

Followed by BBQ on the patio.

Nice aire in my home town, Port Louis. N47,70873 W3,342 Aire de la Côte Rouge, it overlooks the Petite Mere de Gâvre.

Thanks for the tip.

I've just spent a very pleasant day here.
A walk through the town , followed by an evening sitting by the beach opposite the aire reading my book.

The tide was well out when I first arrived, and there were a lots of people out gathering what I assume were moules, including a few from adjacent vans.

The tide seemed to come in quite quickly, and as it did the beach got fairly busy with local families making the most of the beautiful evening.
