Hi Funsters

I might be a little too late with the news as I haven't been on for a few days.

I received an e-mail from Brittany Ferries to say that mv Barfleur is back in service and re-starting the crossing from Poole to Cherbourg starting on 27th February 2011 until 3rd October 2011.

There will be two weekday crossings and three at weekends.

Good news for us as we love this route having done it several times.

I had just logged on to ask if anyone knew any strategies for getting the best price on the Poole - Cherbourg route and I saw your post. Any ideas about getting the best price....book early, leave it late?

Good news indeed as this is a great route for us here in South Wales. I'm going to check out the website now.
