Update on site 231.

Excellent location for visiting the lovely town. Plenty to see and do and very good parking rates.

They have a loo so you can empty the loo, but no fresh to fill as it's a simple carpark. There is also a bin to empty rubbish as well.

Is that notice saying that you can park there from 6PM until 8 AM next day for £1 in a dedicated MH bay?
Yes, I arrived just after 1800hrs and paid £1 for the night.

Put in another £2.30 at 0801hrs and stayed all day, leaving late afternoon.

Only thing that wasn't cricket, was the 2 camper vans that fancied themselves as motorhomes. Whereby they could easily fit in a normal bay, and there were plenty to choose from, they chose to park in the motorhome bays. Saw 2 large motorhomes arrive, drive around and left as they couldn't park.

Made me quite annoyed really.

It's till 10am on a Sunday morning.
We use that car park a lot, there is a tap near the entrance to the Gents. We fill the van with up to 10 trips with a 15 litre watering can!
We've seen smaller camper vans parked in the spaces too, if they are staying overnight, it's only reasonable to expect they would use the dedicated spaces.
