Some time ago I suggested to Britstops that 044 should included in their 2015 book witch it is. The farm shop is excellent. And you are within a few miles of the worlds best known carpets "Axminster Carpet". Within three miles is the start of the Jurassic Coast at Seaton with its new centre opening very soon. (www.jurassicoast.org/visiting). At the same place is the start of the Seaton Tramway, which follows the river Axe over the wetlands to Colyford (my home village) nice pub the Wheelright and on to Colyton with plenty of eating and pubs to visit!.(www.tram.co.uk)
This is not an advertisement, I felt fellow "funsters may like to spend a few days in this part of East Devon. Other places in the area worth visiting Lyme Regis, Beer and Branscombe.

When in Seaton you can park in the Tesco car park foc for three hours!

Thanks for that colyboy, we are off to Dorset and Devon next month. I was only looking in the Britstops book last night at places to stop - '44' was on my list of places so we will definitely stop there now with your recommendation.
