Hi all,

Been Glamping in our 1999 Wayfinder for four years now and absolutely love the whole experience after camping for nearly 30 years before that.
Now we can be on the road in an hour, and often go away just a few miles from home for one or two nights to Camping and Caravan Club certificated sites costing £10 a night! Brilliant!
Just wanted to thank those who mentioned Britannia Rescue for breakdown insurance. Almost all the dozen others I tried wouldn't cover anything over 15 or 16 years old or over 5.5 metres (mine's 5.85!), or they were having a laugh with their prices.
Britannia, which is now part of Liverpool Victoria (LV), covered me in 5 minutes on the phone for UK and all of Ireland (which is where we're going next) for just £67, and when we get around to heading off into Europe, they will extend it for just the extra cost.

Great service.

What weight of vehicle will they cover, will they cover a vehicle at 4005kgs maximum authorised mass?

I don't know I'm afraid but give them a bell on 08007568700 and they'll tell you.
That may not be the exact number, but just ask them to put you through to thew right department.

LV- Brittania Rescue is the company which provides the breakdown cover for Nationwide FlexPlus account. As several of us have stated previously, get this account and it covers MH upto 8m long, 7.5t in weight for breakdown throughout Europe PLUS numerous other benefits inc worldwide health insurance for a monthly outlay of £10 (ie £120 pa).

However, keep £2500 in the account (and pay in £750 pm + 2 Direct Debits) and they will pay you £6.28 per month interest (= £75.36pa), so the cost drops to £3.72 pm (= £44.64 pa).

AND if you allow someone who already has an account eg me to "recommend you as a friend" then they will give both of us £100. Bit of a no-brainer in my opinion - Gordon

Morning all. Great savings to be had for C and CC members on Stena ferries. Full return price for my unit was about £350 Fishguard to Rosslare. Booked through the club's travel service it's £223!
