We too had a fab time at the Ballon festival.

There is a negative note though. When we were there the ballons only went up once at 6am and not at all after that due to weather conditions. Some people are lucky and see the ballons twice a day and others may not see them at all.

The static display to lights and music on the Thursday night and Saturday night is spectacular though.

Best free event Ive ever been to. All the proximity to the park and ride means a trip into Bristol is really easy.

I found an image of the BMW Vixen 21, the owners spent the entire weekend showing people around, only one I've ever seen... and a couple more images of balloons - well that's what you expect at a Balloon rally.

The MCC site has Elsan disposal and Water, but that's it, Avon group work really hard to keep everything running as they attract a lot of people to the site.

Let's hope the weather stays good enough for firm ground on the site and good flying conditions.
