    The law regarding carrying two breath test kit`s in France...:RollEyes:

    Is it law, or has it been knocked on the head... ?

    When we went over on the bikes in August we were told that it's no longer compulsory but for the sake of a few quid I always carry a couple anyway.

    Its still the law but the fine is €00:00 a bit stupid realy.

    But if you dont have them maybe they will look a bit more for what else is wrong.

    For a few quid I whould buy them.

    We carry them in all our cars.and MH.

    As said only a couple of quid so buy a few but not on the ferry ,then in the morning ,after a few test yourself. You may well be surprised just how pissed you still are!

    It's another one of those ill thought out laws which no one over here bothers about. It's like the camera ban on sat navs, they can't look at your sat nav anyway. Besides, the Garmin comes up with safety zone information when ever a camera is near. That's allowed by law!

    Don't forget your headlight deflectors, 2 warning triangles, high viz jackets , zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    +1 Callum,all my French friends laughed when I rushed round trying to find them for camper,car,motorbikes and quite rightly said by the time government argues the toss about them they would be out of date,quite true.
    Additionally they have been found to be wildly inaccurate compared with the proper fit for purpose issued to the flic ones.
    Some I picked up for €1!!:Rofl1:
