Hi, our van came with a couple of BP Gas Light bottles, I have never seen these before and wondered are they a common bottle to exchange?,

I can't justify adding Gaslow etc at the moment even though it appeals to me!, anyone else using them?

You can exchange them at any Homebase store or Macgas depot.
Their main benefit is how light the bottles are and you can see how much gas that's in.
Have two bottles in my garage that I need to get rid of sometime

I have a Calorlite 6kg propane bottle that was left in one of the vans I bought. its very light but only exchangeable like for like by phone/delivery and is more expensive to exchange.

We have used 10kg BP gaslites for 7 years now - never had a problem getting them changed - usually they have a website that will give you the nearest stockist http://bpbottledgas.co.uk/ but at the moment you will have to phone . Mainly used Homebase - really useful when the have their regular 20% off everything because you get it off the gas as well !! The weight saving is immense

Thank you for all of the reply's, we have a Homebase in town so that's a bonus!,

Going to wait until the smaller bottle runs out and replace it with a larger one to match the other full one, I also like the see through construction and will wait for the 20% days (y)
