Boxer minibus conversion (1 Viewer)

Hi, newbie to MotorhomeFun, have purchased a 2001 Peugeot boxer 17 seat minibus which i intend to convert, it at present has a double passenger seat up front & I would like to install swivel driver/passenger seats, my real question is where to obtain the passenger seat base/box as at present the double passenger seat is bolted direct to the floor

Hi and welcome :thumb:cheapest thing to do is find some car swivel seats from a scrappy or eBay--kia sedona, renault espace are two that spring to mind.The complete seats will work out cheaper than buying universal swivel bases . It's then a case of fitting them in your bus.
you can buy double seat swivels but most use singles

Cheers for reply Terry, I'm currently watching seats on eBay but as I'm removing the double passenger seat to replace with a single swivel all the seats ive seen don't seem to come with a base so will require a new base unit otherwise the missus will be staring at the dash

Would a drivers seat from the same model fit

Not sure myself but are the bolt holes for left hand drive and right hand drive
Not the same
Or try a check of a French vehicle dismantler ( scrap- yard )

assuming its the same as a ducato9 the easist is just buy another drivers seat box from a scrapyard both sides are the same
