I hate these 'made up' breed names! They are just mongrels - and there is nothing wrong with a mongrel - so wh make out it is a breed other than to charge breed prices?

I know the labradoodle has been accepted as a breed on the basis that it would be beneficial to have a guide dog that did not molt.

The rest are all mongrels - they were always cheap as you took the risk of it having inter-breed health issues. All this trend of amateurs mixing breeds and giving it a breed name does is destroy the breed and its' healthy bloodline. It just premotes puppy farms and people breeding without any knowledge for a quick buck.

When I was young we had a pure white GSD - it had been interbred to get the pure white colour. Although fine with me (in fact protective of me) it was well known to be 'funny' It would let you in the house, wouldn't let anyone out. It would also be cuddled up to someone and then suddenly turn on them without warning.

Vet diagnosed a brain tumour through interbreeding. Later investigation saw the rest of the littler hunted down and all were destroyed - one had tried to bury a new born baby as it had become jealous - the breeder was banned for life.

This is how all this bad breeding will end!

Well folks the search may be called off

He's part shit zu and the rest chiwauwauwa

Looks like a mini jack Russell terrier

At the moment he lives with a rehoming person

along with 14-16 varying puppy's and adult dogs

Not up the front not at the back

But likes the middle ground he had probs as a pup

Serious worms they were advised to put him to sleep

But was nursed to full strength so he's socialised with other dogs

Has socialised with little children chipped and wormed inoculated

And ready to go.

Rehomer wouldn't let him go

till second visit to give us time To change our mind !!!!!!

so maybe next week new best buddy

thats the fella tuppence had been there

since i joined and i am just remembering

how to alter the pics

the photo showing was on an i phone

and dosnt seem to want to be the right

way up

jack decided to pee against my leg the other morning - I was just rolling my pj legs up so as not to get them wet with dew on the grass prior to walking him and victor on grass dog walk at Yellowcraig!
