We have toured France for several years now and mainly stay on their camping car aires and municipal sites when we come across them.
Can anyone please tell me if there is a book listing the French Municpals in English ?

Thanks for the reply, but All the Aires in France only covers the Aires and GPL sites, they do a book that lists all the municipals in France but that is all in French

I have never seen a book for Municipal Sites ..

there are some 2,000, this web site is the best I've come across.

Browse where you intend to go and copy past the info into a word file..

    http://www.camping-municipal.org/index.htm

edit.. just saw your post about a French book.. do you have a link ..

We always pick guides up when we are in France either a supermarket or bookshop. Usually loads cheaper!

We bought a useful book from LeClerc I think - it was called Guide Bel-air camping-caravanning evasions en camping car.
It was in 2010 and I dont know if its still published - its in French but there are only so many words used in the descriptions its easy to translate. It also had Aires which were not in the All the Aires book.
(just googled it and they still print it - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Guide-Bel-A...-camping-car/dp/2358680303/ref=dp_ob_image_bk )

We have also always used Le Guide Officiel Camping Caravaning in French which has been our bible and we have found some superb municipals in the past. On reading this I thought maybe I would like to update my 2012 version so I got on to Amazon and it came up with the 2015 version for £8.60 so I have ordered it. I searched on 'Le guide officiel camping and caravaning' without putting a year in as when I did specify a year it seemed to miss this latest version. I should say that it is pretty easy to follow even though it is in French.
