I have just finished reading 'One Day Ahead: A Tour De France Misadventure' on my Kindle. (details). It tells the story of 4 cyclists who are following the route of the 2012 Tour de France.
Apart from loads of cycling information, which I still found interesting although I am not a cycling fan, the author tells the story of backing up the team from the 2 motorhomes following them in support.
There are loads of anecdotes telling of the trials and tribulations of finding somewhere to park, fresh water, dump points etc etc and the frictions that developed between the backup teams.
Altogether, well worth the £1.99 Kindle asking price!
