started when I was 11 with my parents-forgot to stop!been real one since 1980!
Will this herald a re-birth of the Wildgoose?
These 'Minis' are an abomination of the original design by Issigonis. The price is outlandish if the camper versions were ever marketed, they would probably be as much as a decent PVC.
Only concepts at the mo,but they obviously aren't good at history!

Worse still it will become a design statement by all the chavs and chavettes in the nail bars and tanning salons!

Only since 2012, but I towed for many years
I rather like the roof-box tent, as a concept.

Slide out kitchens, roof top tents - nothing remotely new there. No doubt there will be a market for them, afterall I know someone who has paid £33k for a new Mini.

Interesting article in last Sunday Times 'Driving' section on the 'Man Van' - Romahome Rio, VW Caddy Maxi Camper and Mini Cooper D Clubvan. First is one sleeper only, second just about 2, and the mini you can't sleep in but will take a tent!
