Hello, new to this forum and hoping to enjoy using and contributing.
Fairly new to motorhomes having had a Bongo and a demountable in the past.
I have the motorhome to get away to the best areas of France and the Scottish west coast.
I live in a beautiful area of the Duddon valley in the SW lakes but have an addiction to France and Sutherland for different reasons.
My business is Trees so I actually enjoy my dayjob most of the time.

Thanks for the welcome.
Dumfries and Galloway is lovely but I love areas where you can camp, walk all day and see no one and no human detritus.
The French Pyrenees, the west highlands and islands offer that. Dumfries and Galloway do as you rightly say have some lovely hidden gems, but like the lake district have too many people.

Have you every been to D & G? I am afraid I would have to disagree with your comment about this region having too many people.

60 people to a square mile, is that too many people?.........:whatthe: well perhaps that what sets it apart from the Lake District:Smile:
