Bold (1 Viewer)

Can someone enlighten me about forum thread listings that are in BOLD type please? My initial assumption were that they differentiated threads that I have not read from those that I have but that doesn't seem to hold true. They change from BOLD to NORMAL irrespective of me reading them. I'm sure there will be a reason that I should have been able to work out but not so far.

Bold are threads you haven't read or have new posts since you last read ..

at least that's how it works for me ..

However, if you close the browser I think they all come back bold.

just tried, closed my browser and they are now all bold.

i agree with Jim, with one addition.
any post/thread made by you will be in normal font until someone else answers the same thread, then its shown in bold.
