Iam going away on monday for a few days not far just to get away and see how the cold weather affects the van (and me and the dog) the main thing i have been thinkiing about is in the hand book it says that when the temp gets to a certain level the boiler will dump the water for safety as not to freeze the water. So does this mean every time the temp drops that i have to fill the water ,and i suppose i have to reset it every time as well.
By the way its a Burstner ixeo time 2012 thanks for your help...

Our fourth glorious year!
If you put your heating on the night before leaving the valve should stay up fine.If you are living in the van the temperature should be OK for it not to dump.We have been away a lot in winter and never had a problem.:thumb:

We were away at the beginning of December in freezing temperatures. We just kept the water heater on low and had no problems at all.
