Since the beginning
Had a lovely weekend in North Norfolk - except for the bit where I "christened" our new pride an joy.

The long story:
I reversed into a tight gap
Wife offers to see me back
I decline her kind offer - I have mirrors, camera and experience ...
And promptly reversed into a grass bank, and did the damage shown in photo.

The short version:
I was a twonk. The End :banghead:

Can anyone recommend a good body repair person in the Essex / East Anglia area ?
Don't mind paying the money for a good job.

And if they also fit parking sensors :winky:

Looks to be an easy fix yourself...

Clean the back push as much out as possible and fibreglass the back with matting.. then build up the split with body filler, and rub down with wet and dry and a can of aerosol.. (y)

Still trucking and learning
It's a 'rite of passage' - has to be done at least once. Stick some duct tape on it. All experienced ruffty tuffty motorhomes have a bit of duct tape on their vans.

I used http://www.motorhome.co.uk operating out of Luton. Very good repair

Yes, I have used them as well. Peter Ayles team does a good professional job and my repair bill was actually a few hundred less than he quoted (dampe repair to a Lunar.........)

Not really in the Essex area but Elite motorhomes near Banbury did a great job repairing my rear panel (Stupidly reversed into a pile of bricks on the drive) and the crack in the fibreglass roof panel (stupidly allowed the site owner to direct me into a tree) (y)
