You're going in the wrong direction - We have enjoyed a week of glorious sunshine while the English and Welsh have sadly and slowly got washed out.

Come up weathr is fine - no ferry fees either.

The rain is heaving it down here and it looks as if the only dry part of Scotland is the far north-west (according to the BBC weather report today).
The last week has been fantastic here warm and dry, unlike other parts of the UK, but we've now cancelled our trip to the East Neuk of Fife because of the weather:Sad:

We've been looking as well, but for Portsmouth to Cherbourg/Le Havre, quite expensive at £270 and £308
