Parked up on site in Cheddar next to cemetery so no noisy neighbours then the bloody church bells go every half hour

..... and if you are in bad books there's loadsa bunches of flowers to offer as a pacifier.

You'll just get used to the bells when it's time to move. Been there.

6am....ding, dong, ding, bloody dong.....

Who the hell goes to church at 6am ? :Angry:

Could have been worse I suppose....Could have been a mosque !

I'm afraid I'd be one of those annoying people you hear about , that move to a beautiful little village then get annoyed by church bells ringing and cockerels crowing .
I have to have quiet whilst I'm trying to sleep
I wouldn't insist on a cockerel cull or ban on the bells though, like some do. oh:
But I'd check on the local churches ringing practice before we bought , that's for sure.:Blush:

Our Village Church Clock rings every 1/4 hour 24/7/365 , and a couple times a year Bell ringers come from all over to ring, starts at 0900 and goes to 2100.oh:

There was an Incomer that bought almost next door to the Church in St Day, spent squillions doing up the property before moving down. Found out AFTER moving, that the clock chimed every 1/4 hour, and tried to start a petition to have them stopped,
