Since I've been a member I've read many threads on filling water tanks and then not getting water out of the taps.
I think I've just been fortunate that it hadn't happened to me-UNTIL NOW !!
Filled tank at 0730 to be ready for an early 'off'-turned on all taps as usual-nothing.Could hear pump running, tried turning taps on and off, tried sucking on a tap-then blowing down it in desparation-still nothing.
Carolyn said that praps if we could 'agitate' the whole system by driving off it might free the 'air lock' as we assumed it to be.
I thought I would check business end of pump to see if there was any suction there.
I took off my shirt reached into tank and put my finger over the pump intake pipe-could't feel anything,so,in annoyance I gave it a bit of a shake-BINGO a few gurgles and we had water out of every tap :thumb:
I know what I'll be trying next time it happens.
