Blaupunkt Sat Nav Reversing Camera (1 Viewer)

What a shock!!!
While useing the reversing camera today I suddenly realised that the camera picture was mirrored.
I wanted to reverse to the left but the camera showed the road I wanted to reverse to was on the right.
I was confused for a moment until I realised what was going on. oh:
Surely this is NOT supposed to happen... what is the answer? how do I solve this? :thumb:

Only two options im aware of
You need a camera that is set up for reversing
Or
You can use any old camera if your screen menu has the reversing feature

Funny you should say that, just found out exactly the same " feature" myself when a child ran behind me while reversing, I looked on the wrong side!

As you said...what a shocker !!!
We have a Bessacarr, fitted with reversing camera. Only had it some 8 months, so have not used it.
After reading your thread, went out to the van to check,and, like you say, it's mirrored:Angry::Angry:
Could have caused a few pounds worth of damage if not known.:Angry::Angry:

Your solution is to turn the actual camera 180 degrees and re secure it in the shroud.

I had exactly the same problem there is no software to rectify it.

Been going through settings and I agree, so turning it 180 degrees seems the answer :thumb:
