Blaupunkt radio problems (1 Viewer)

I have a Blaupunkt Malaga radio in my Burstner motorhome, and when I try to switch it off by pressing the centre on/off button all it does is change channels, tried all ways but it won't switch off. Only way is to switch the ignition on and off then the radio starts to turn off. Although I can manage with this it is a problem when driving on a motorway and you wish to turn the radio off, Any help would be appreciated.

does the volume knob work? just turn it down

failing that do as I do, release the front panel, that definitely stops it

Thanks David, yes the volume knob works and I can turn it down but not off, so we can still here the radio, read all the instructions but still cannot switch it off, can't for the life of me understand why not. but never mind will carry on trying
