Hi Lyndon, Crompton Rd club is just behind the pleasure beach. A 5 minute walk from the prom,. You will have to pre book.

Hampton road social club at Waterloo is right behind the pleasure beach.Quite a good site but weekend rates can be a bit pricey.

Hampton Road is convenient, clean, pricey...and can be noisy, the pitches at the back are only metres from Yeadon Way, which can be busy.

Some vans appear to park in the car park of the social club - not sure of the arrangement there.

The social club was ok for a drink and entertainment when we were there.

Lyndon, if the above falls through then Maggie Chatterdog knows a good on if you want to pm her, and also even though not in Blackpool is close by is the site that Motorhomelover has just stayed on and is arranging a meet in November .... it has an indoor swimming pool for adult and the boys too.

Sorry, not more detailed - in a rush. You would have to pm Motorhomelover too or look up the thread...  x

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
Hampton road social club at Waterloo is right behind the pleasure beach.Quite a good site but weekend rates can be a bit pricey.

Last time we went to the pleasure beach we stopped here. Its a strange site , down a residential street .
The walk to the pleasure beach was through a very scruffy run down part of Blackpool. :whatthe:
But the site was tidy enough.
When we were there it was full of grown men and women dressed up as cowboys / girls though.
The men were sporting full size cap guns and shooting each other. The kids thought it was hilarious , and we had to stop them pointing and laughing. They were a lot younger at the time though.:ROFLMAO:
There was a different country western tune blaring out from each caravan awning. Very loudly all day . Each awning was decked out in feathered wind chimes and blankets with wolves on etc
On the evening the social room was packed to the gills with people 6 deep line dancing.
Needless to say we only stayed 1 night and were glad we had not payed for 2.
If we were to go again we would check 1st.
But i guess if you were into that sort of thing you would love it.:ROFLMAO:
