Hi - we are thinking of going to see the luminations before they end this year.:Cool:

Are there any CLs or similar sites recomended for getting into Blackpool by public transport or by bike?

Its a private club with entertainment on most nights. You will get all the info from Googling Hampton Rd Club Blackpool. Have stayed there a few times as its central to town. They have around 20 or 30 pitches, all hardstanding and will take any size outfit.

We just park up at the Solaris Centre for the few days we are there.. There is even a public toilet there.. 20p a go but when we have been there it is sort of accepted that the door gets accidentally stuck open ( shame if you are the first but hey, 20p a night aint bad !! )

The Solaris centre is on / in a square and there are usually 5 or 6 vans parked round it.. It is on the south side of the town on the.. the post code is FY4 1RW

We live near Blackpool, has said before if you can get on Hampton Rd it's about a 5 minute walk to the prom down Station Rd I used to live near there, The Haven site at Marton Mere is a few miles outside Blackpool, there prob is local bus service but I don't know about numbers or times etc, Hampton Rd is ideal.
