Just planning our route to the Highlands for later in the year, going to go up the A9 to Inverness, then down to Kinlochewe and as it will be very late when we reach Inverness, we are thinking of stopping for a few hours in the tourist center just over the Moray Firth road bridge (Black Isle), does anyone know if this is a good place to stop?

As you mention arriving late, I assume you're talking about overnighting there. I don't know what the official position is, but I think you'll be OK, it should be quiet and there is lots of space - and fairly level.
Another possibility is the car park at Inverness Caledonian Thistle football ground, on the south side of the bridge. I'm not aware of any height barriers.
Enjoy the Highlands, and take midge repellent.:D
