Admiral have in their wisdom, told me they will not insure my little car for more than 90 days abroad,,

Any body know of a half decent insurance company that will insure for up to six (6) months abroad.. with a green card..

    Maximum no claims (48 yrs)

    Help!!!!!

    Thanks.

Have you tried Saga we were with them and there was no limit on overseas travel. Also Caravan Club insurance gives 9 months.I got a quote from National Farmers Union and they had no time limit.Good luck and enjoy your travels.-Sue

Why do you need a green card? Recently asked my insurance company for one (NU) and they said you dont need one anymore.

some insurance companys still insist on them for some odd reason.

Mo Im sure you can use time abroad as an option on gocompare. If not just get a few cheap quotes and give them a bell and ask.

Think you will find a lot of insurance company`s would null & void your policy if you dont have one.. and you had an accident abroad..

Adrian Flux will not do more than 90 days...

Saga "Unlimited European cover.. and cheaper insurance than Admiral,, who we have been with for ages..

    Thankyou "Vera".. :thumb:

Just to throw a spanner in, We have just changed from Saga if you are a member of cc or ccc they guarentee to knock £25 of your renewal. CC are covering us for 9 months abroad and CCC was unlimited. We use CC for our Ferry bookings with Camping cheques to get IMX fares that are cheaper and we stay on CL sites so it has been worth the £37 membership
