Bilbao - anyone know where to camp there? (1 Viewer)

Heading to Bilbao over Christmas and having a bit of difficulty finding a place to camp, in or near the city. Anyone got any recent experiences. Also, hoping to luxe it up for a few days in an hotel near the Guggenheim, anyone know of somewhere to park the beloved camper? Someone mentioned you could park at the airport.

A few miles out of town centre, but fantastic view, and altho no showers there is, water, dump etc. Easy bus ride to town.

There is a motorhome stop SW of the city centre called Kobetamendi. From the comments it looks like it will be closed from December 6th but it's possible to stay in a carpark next door - http://www.campercontact.com/en/spa...rhome-parking-autocaravaning-kobetamendi.aspx

As to secure parking while you stay in a hotel, I've no idea. But I do know that Bilbao is a fantastic city to visit! Enjoy
