Bike covers (1 Viewer)

Can anyone recommend a bike cover to go over two bikes while attached ot the back of a motorhome.

It will need to have a slit up the centre at the back

We bought ours from Taylormade. Substantial material and well made. Not cheap at £60 but i don't think I will need to buy another one for a long time.



I will add a photo when I load the bikes onto the rack this evening.

The one in the link is from Hindermann, this is the make we have after having 2 previous ones including Fiamma just fall apart after a couple of years. The Hindermann covers are much thicker material, think we paid about the same for ours.

Just bought a new Taylormade one.It is a replacement for one that at 9 years old was just starting to split

Hi, here are the photos of the Taylormade cover. Ours does not have a slit in the cover and is the standard two bike cover rather than the electric bike version. It's a snug fit, maybe the 'electric' version which is a bit deeper would have been better (one of our bikes is electric.

My experience with bike covers if it helps is Taylormade very substantial and up to the job but as changed van I fancied a new one so went for the Hindermann one which is featured above. I returned this because the zip,although a great idea was not in my opinion up to the job so I bought one from Bag&Covers direct. This has also faded the same as Taylormade one but I still prefer because of the click in type of attachment (don't know name but same as lots of rucksacks) as well as a good quality zip. I think it was just over £60.
Just reread your post and this type has slit for your style of rack as I take it that yours is not a tow bar type of rack you have as in the above pics.

When we ordered ours from Taylormade ew were given a choice of, one slit or two.Also a pocket for a plastic reflective board was available as an extra. The electric bike version is larger than the standard one

Another vote for Taylormade.Had ours for 7 years now,it's a bit faded but as good as new.
