We were given the oppertunity to run a raffle at the Newark meet this weekend, we would like to say a big thankyou to the many people who contributed by not only giving a good selection of prizes, but also to those that purchased tickets:thumb:. Along side the raffle, Steve and Lynn (Ash) also ran a draw based on number plates of those present. Our joint effort raised a total of £223.00. The proceeds were donated to Jim for the forum which we are all hoping he would put towards some new software that he spoke of on the forum recently. Jim being what he is, gave thanks to us all and said he would like to donate this money to NSPCC.
As we lose an hour tonight. off to bed now. Night night .
Would like to also thank Brian and June (Papasmurf) and Cheyne (Upmarkethippy) for their effort in selling the raffle tickets.

Good morning all, on this beautiful sunny morning in Newark. (It's about time we got some decent weather. )

That's great news Nigel, and a big thanks to you and Pamela from us all, for organising and running the raffle.

£223.00 is very good considering the number of outfits we had. Great stuff.
