Lovely pics of the gardens over on your blog Sue.
Have seen the gardens featured on TV. The staff come across as devoted to the gardens and buildings.
Can I ask where you pitched up? On the site by the canal in the Churnet Valley perhaps?

Enjoyed meeting you at Bristol Balloon Festival this year.

Lovely to meet you also

I travelled down from Buxton, and was heading for a caravan site about 2 or 3 miles away from Biddulph (found it on UKcampsite) They didn't answer the phone but I thought I would risk it but after I got lost and it was pitch black I just gave up and spent night in layby . Sorry didn't keep location but I think it was as I was leaving Leek. All was fine and set off to arrive at 11 am when they open. I parked in the coaches section and no-one seemed to mind.

The gardens are wonderful. Do go!

I visited a week ago and they were just wonderful

Spooky, we visited on Tuesday.

Pretty impressive garden but not as impressive as your excellent video shows them.

Now in my book Cragside really qualifies as "wonderful", we were there last week. What's more you get one hell of a house to walk round as well.
