Knew of a fella spent squillions restoring a Sunbeam Tiger, Finished it with a greeny pearl effect paint Job, can't remember how many coats of clear he overlaid, but it looked as though you could actually reach deep into the paint to touch the colour.
On his first outing, him and his wife parked up outside a Pizza place, ordered a take away, when they came out some mental midget had coined the bonnet with;
