Re the weight of the awning on the Fiamma roll out. We used to use the brush waving trick but now we just leave the Fiamma in a d I use the step ladder to thread it on.. it's relatively easy to slide across them and certainly no slower.
I would have looked to fit a rail on our van but unfortunately there's a light fitting in the way. I would have to change that fitting for a different one in order to be able to fit a rail.:(

I tried our Kampa 260 pro out yesterday on our Auto Sleeper Broadway fitted with the slimmer omnistore awning and it fitted quite well, no gaps over the top and it pulled in quite tight to our van.
