Do what I did. Get FJMike to clean it for you. There are lots of different things motorhomes are made of, and if you don't know what you're doing you can make it worse. I think mine is grp coated aluminium.

Listen to FJMike he knows his stuff, as another nooby I found WD40 and a gentle cloth removed the majority of seemingly permanent marks on my van

Try Silky , it's not bad on stain removal but like everything it depends on the stain .
Good luck , hope you enjoy cleaning your van as much as I do.

Highly recommend that you read through the detailing section. Loads of really useful info mainly provided by Charlie & FJ Mike. When we first got our new Moho was very keen to treat it correctly so have now bought several of the products recommended. Am pleased to report the Moho still looks as good as the day we took delivery and am now confident with how to treat it correctly, i.e. removing great big dollops of tar deposited on it whilst driving through re-surfacing works in France (it was even on the roof, looked like a massive cow pats!!!). Its worth getting some of the basic stuff recommended, e.g. microfibre cloths, tar remover etc. etc. Hope you have many happy days in you moho and many happy hours keeping your pride & joy in top top condition, enjoy.:xThumb::xThumb:

Not sure if this is a controversial method of use on a motorhome, but when I bought mine it had severe staining/discolouration on the top Luton part of the roof. I carefully used Oxalic acid as recommended by a boat specialist, came up like new! Gave several coats of wax afterwards to give protection.

Fenwicks fs1 is in all probability a glorified TFR and definitely not made for motorhomes. If you must use it keep away from graphics and go very carefully with it.

Fenwicks FS1 when diluted 10-1 is ideal been using it against the dark streaks4 sometime, however they do a Motorhome specific cleaner def not glorified it just is the best l have used.

The thing to keep in mind is that outside of the Motorhome world nobody has heard of Fenwicks :)

Fwiw I find Aldi pump spray "wash n wax" works really well, I first tried it on my racecar to remove "flip flop" marks (flip flops are plastic bollards used to delineate the inner limit of a corner, so called because if you hit them they should fold down (flip) then spring back up (flop) but they do tend to leave quite stubborn black marks) which it did brilliantly. Tried it on my motorhome and it takes blackn streaks off really easily.
