We have recently enjoyed both Almerimar which is an aire on the marina with bars etc or in contrast Cabo de Gata.

Hope you are having a good time NeilEmma , we are heading to Spain in the morning its still busy at Falesia but its been cold the last few days.

La Cala de Mijas and fuengirola both allow parking in winter on their huge car parks. La Cala is just as you come off the n340 and fuengirola is either el Castillo car park or the feria ground in the centre

We also stayed at Almeria in the port car park for 5 euros, suitable for 1 night

Ps we got moved on from the car park at torre del mar even though the 2 sites were both full

Camping on the beach, just outside Almeria city at La Garrofa - it is an ACSI site. Might be a tad tight if you have a huge unit, but pleasant spot in our opinion. We managed to get a front-line pitch - magical with the sea lapping on the shore and the moon sparkling on the water.

We couldnr get there because of a land slide but it looked beautiful. That's why we stayed at thr port and the old town was easy walking distance

We have been getting battered by rain in gibraltar the past few days but going to try really hard to get to some of the sights on the Upper Rock today. Looks like it is raining most places over the next few weeks. Where are you heading to? We've been enjoying cuddling with the girls and a film and we are watching breaking bad - we laughed at the motorhome!! X

Sorry I just realised you meant to do what whilst we have the week to spare! We have a 5 yo and 3 yo with us so looking for somewhere to keep them reasonably entertained.

Glad your having a good time we are going to Benidorm for a few months hope to get there Sunday we are staying on Villasol.

We had a leaving party last night with Brian Julie & Jackie John + a few more we had a good laugh and a good drink .
