Best Place To View New And Used Hymer And Rapido Mhs (1 Viewer)

Hi,

We're looking to buy either a Hymer or Rapido MH. Can anyone tell us where to go to view these MHs. We've been to Highbridge where they had a good range but not many used vehicles. We're looking for something around a year or two old. At the moment we're in Devon but live in Sussex - we don't mind travelling a distance though for a good outlet.

For Hymer, I'd visit Travelworld, their showroom is one of the best in the UK

I bought our Hymer at Becks in Gt Yarmouth.. approved Hymer dealers.

and Link Removed. he imports direct from Germany, new and second hand to order.. was on the verge of buying from him, then saw the one I wanted at Becks..

We got ours new from Lee at Edgehill Motorhomes, Mansfield Woodhouse http://edgehillmotorhomes.co.uk .

He imports them & will take care of the registration with UK plates etc at a considerable saving. Consequently he usually has a good choice of 2nd hand ones & will take a trade-in. Handover was good as is after-sales.

I think that Lowdhams are the main Hymer importers and also large enough to have plenty of choices. My advice would be to visit the next major Motorhome Show with 'Fun' where there will be a better selection of both than any single dealer will carry.

Do your research in Blighty, go across the water to where they sell garlic and big sausages, pick one you like, import it yourself and save ££££££££'s

We bought out N and B, from Travelworld. They had a very good choice of vans. And it was a very pleasant experience.

As you live in Sussex it's not far to Campirama in Belgium, we brought both our new Hymer's there. Why pay silly UK prices, the EU is supposed to be a common market place, UK Motorhome dealers appear to be unaware of this fact.

To compare your stated choice, of Rapido and Hymer, Highbridge
are dealers for both brands, in fact when we had narrowed down our search, they put our selected model from both brands next to each other so we could compare them in detail.

We bought from Edgehill Motorhomes in Mansfield Woodhouse. A family-run business (Paul & Lee Broadhurst). Have been back since for a couple of repairs and rate them highly for used Hymer.
