Yes , fans work fine for us...so long as the air is moving around you'll be cool!

I'm fairly sure the Endless Breeze fan mentioned above works off 12v only..

if you want a mains fan then these are good...

Amazon product ASIN B001VEJFT6
We have two...reasonably quiet and move a lot of air for their size.

it comes with a cigarette lighter fitting but if you are on hookup it is fine. We have used it in the house with an adapter.

The endless breeze one being 12 volt means it can be used on the move. We've used ours in the back as a dog cooler when travelling. :)

I've got one of these 12V Fiamma Turbo fans. It fits into my Heki rooflight using simple hooks but can also be used as stand alone.

It looks good and works well, but not really used it properly yet - waiting for some hot weather. ( It could be a long wait)

I'm trying to decide between the fiamma and an endless breeze. Does the Fiamma rattle when it's suspended from the roof light?

Endless breeze.. (y)

great fan but also think it is expensive for what it is... probably because it is imported from the USA

I was lucky and bought one second hand from a funster ..
