I have had my tablet (motorola xoom) for a week now and have been looking around play store for apps to load. I did a quick search on fun to find any recommendations but did not come up with anything, of course that may have been my fault.

I thought I let you know what I have found:

Browser - Having tried a number I have settled on Ninesky. It supports flash content and runs quickly.

keyboard - I have loaded Tablet keyboard it is more like a laptop keyboard and has letters and number on one screen.

pictures - Reduce Photos does what it says and will be invaluable if you want to upoad picture to Fun.

Well those are my starter apps what are your favourites.

I've finally gone modern after years of an old Nokia with a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, thought the S3 was too big for me. Downloaded dozens in the last week which I'll probably remove again but I do like the Google Star Map, Angry Birds of course which my grand kids think is really old hat  and I've got the tube and bus maps for our visit to London after Christmas.

So which is best Navigation App soft ware, some already mentioned, but which others are worth a try, and why?

Seems with many you have to download large map files other than UK.

Oh, and I've just uninstalled a Jimmy Saville voice app, wasn't very good anyway but "Now then, now then" went down badly when I picked the grand kids up from school an hour ago. :ROFLMAO:

With NavFree you just download country by country as you need them, but make sure via WiFi, they a pretty big.

All economical to run Nav programs need downloaded maps, you'd die a financial death using on-line across EU.

Copilot Live has been given a good report here. I have it, 5 years old, on a Windows smart phone and it's great. You choose basic free or more comprehensive paid.

On the gaming front,
Bad Piggies from makers of Angry Birds and equally addictive
